AgMolBiol Lab is located at the Life Sciences Center of Peking University. It is a section of the National Lab of Protein Engineering and Genetic Engineering of Plant, and belongs to the Department of Biotechnology, College of Life Science of Peking University.

AgMolBiol Lab was set up in 1995 when Prof. Zhongping Lin moved his work from Chinese Academe of Science to Peking University. Lin has been working in the field of plant molecular biology for many years and is now in charge of His Lab.

The major research projects in AgMolBiol are granted by National High-tech Research Programme(Biological Field), National Natural Science Foundation of  China and some agricultural biotechnology companies domestically and abroad.
